Find Friendship Through the Northbrook Woman’s Club

Since 2009, Mary Tritsis has served as president of Kindness is Doing Something Special for Kids (KIDSS. for Kids), a charitable organization that raises money to support Family Services at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Mary Tritsis maintains membership in the Northbrook Woman’s Club.

Composed of more than 300 members, the Northbrook Woman’s Club aims to uplift the community through philanthropy, community service, and friendship. As part of its mission to connect and serve, the Northbrook Women’s Club hosts several social events and special interest programs. These include regularly scheduled luncheons and walking tours that invite local women to cultivate friendships, as well as one-time events that expose them to local businesses and attractions.

In addition to a book club that meets three times a week, the Northbrook Woman’s Club hosts weekly bridge dates and card games. One-time events have included wine tastings, trips to the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra, and a cooking class at Sur la Table.
